Privacy notice
How Cognautic and Invarent collect, use, disclose, retain, secure, and honor choices for public-site, account, billing, support, and product data.
Cognautic, operating Invarent, uses personal data to respond to business requests, authenticate users, deliver and secure the service, administer accounts and billing, provide support, and improve public pages when analytics consent is granted. Invarent does not sell personal data or use customer financial records for advertising.
Data we receive
Contact and account details, verified identity claims, membership and role data, commercial and billing references, support content, product usage and security metadata, device and request information, and public-site analytics only after consent. Customer financial data is processed to provide the contracted accounting service.
Purposes and legal bases
We process data to perform contracts, take requested pre-contract steps, protect the service and users, satisfy legal obligations, operate the business, and pursue legitimate security and product-improvement interests. Optional public analytics and non-essential marketing use consent where required.
Disclosure and processors
Service providers process limited data for managed infrastructure, identity, billing, monitoring, communications, security, and consented analytics. The current categories are listed on the subprocessors page. We may disclose data when legally required or in a transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention and protection
Data is retained only for the service, security, accounting, dispute, and legal periods applicable to the record. Access is scoped; transport is encrypted; secrets are separated; operational evidence and deletion obligations are controlled. Backup copies age out under the applicable recovery schedule.
Choices and requests
Depending on location, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection and may withdraw consent. Email privacy@invarent.com. We verify identity and account authority before disclosing or changing protected data.
